Wow..after re-reading the other thread, plus what has been posted here, I would love to hear Mr. Barber's (CARS,Inc) explantion now. </div></div> Probably be something similar to the way he explained away the placard note thanking Alan Colvin for his time and effort "verifying" this car?. Gotta love how some members here still put the truth before a good story...no wonder why some don't like it here!. ~ Pete

Why would they change the stripes to white when it has a black top? Also what hood did they install? Curious to see the pictures from the show.

![]() Here are two pics from the show. You can see the white stripes, SYC headrests and also the ducted hood pad. The ducted hood with 427 emblems can be seen on the 2nd photo. I apologize for not having better pics to share. Here is what I do not understand. Granted, the car was shown at SEMA in 2009. At that time, it was advertised as a COPO Engineering vehicle, no stripes, a flat hood (based on hood pad) and a blue Chevy bowtie on the grille. Now in 2010 it has become a Yenko? Would the "lost documentation" contain the missing Yenko connection? Just my two cents from an original X22 guy. ![]() ![]() |
