Anyone have a paint formula for the yellow that was on early lakewood traction bars? Thanks

I found a real good rattle can color after searching for awhile. Paint is made by Sherwin-Williams and the brand is NOW and is sunshine yellow #21206. Many people have the original bars way to orangey IMO. This is as close as I can remember from my early days.

Yeah, but Sammy, weren't you looking through rose-colored glasses back then?

I used some left over Daytona Yellow paint on mine and IMHO it is "dead on"

grady and Mike - the first time i read the thread and the work on the hood was outstanding. Engine compartment looks great as well. What are you guys drinking or smoking in Ohio - send some of that back west!
Great job!
