Thanks for the responses. That is some helpful info.
Is there a 1969 GM technicians Engine/Trans./Axle component ID manual or would the same apply to 69? Thanks

Either side pad is possible to show a date code.Rub some white powder in them to show up better.
My 69 tech manual shows the same. |

On our '69 Chevelle calipers there is a three number code on the outboard boss. Rather hard to find unless you know where to look.

Chevelleless after 46 years......but we did find a low mileage, six speed, silver 2005 Corvette. It will just have to do for now.
