I finally made a deal after the owner dropped his price dramatically.What would cause it to backfire?- bad plugs,crossed spark plug wires,timing,carb adjustments - anything thing else I may have missed? Help greatly appreciated.Thks Bob

If the original system, a bad coil can cause this..

Peter the color is In violet also known as plum crazy purple,comes with the original broadcast sheet,car located in northern quebec.Will only pickup sometime next week if everything pans out .Did a compression check and all cylinders were between 140 and 150 .See the tread on page 5 o 6 .Bob
