The placement of the &quot;SS&quot; emblem is correct for 1969. Here's a pic of a 69 SS 427 that was just restored by a good friend of mine....

Your SS is much closer to the trunk lock then the one at Carlise...It has more space? Which one is right?

Got home last night. I can tell you one thing it was worth the trip all 980 miles. &quot;One Way&quot; I want to thank Brian and the boys!!! Great job!!!

Me and my boys will be there next year! We're there any Jenkins or Strickler cars at this event? They were the killer team back in the '60's.

For many years (at least until he broke his sternum at Talladega) The Intimidator prided himself on getting in and out of his #3 without removing the steering wheel, not many people know this but it was Kim who taught Dale Earnhardt Sr. how to do that gracefully.
