I have a 68 with the vin tag # 68-12437 LOS 41096. Chevy records show no production numbers over 40k at the LOS plant in 1968. Also, it has Q-Q for paint code. Any help. Thanks

You're not talking Body # on the Cowl Tag instead of Vin # by chance are you?.

Although total LOS production may be less than 40k, the CRG site listings indicate LOS Vin # <span style="text-decoration: underline">3</span>41096 would be a May '68 build w/ # 349164 being the last '68 Vin built at the LOS plant in July .. Welcome aboard Glenn!.

Looks like your Vin would fall in the same May '68 build time and probably 1'st week - 05A on the tag?. On the QQ thing, looking at the underside of the parcel shelf or other hidden areas of the cowl etc, what do you see...orange?. I see you`ve asked questions on the Camaro site too!. Again is the Cowl Tag a Magic Mirror style by chance?. ~ Pete

The QQ code is for Verdoro Green. This was a Pontiac color in '68 but over the years a small sample of Camaros have been seen with the paint code. I'm not sure why it wouldn't have been indicated with a --- paint code as it so rare you could not consider it a "production" color for a Camaro. However, I'm sure it is legit that way on the cowl tag and that was the original color for your car.
