Little or no paper trail and the appropriate fuzzy pictures are all too common. I can't imagine anyone paying big money for a car like this on a maybe. Then, that's just me.

WOW! Has anyone checked out the bidding? Talk about lucking out! A bidder brand new to ePay with no feedback has rung the top bid to $61K from $44K! I bet the owner is jumping for joy!

that 0 bidder had nothing to do with the outcome, it was these three that dictated the final hammer price of $64100:

I think the seller may have bought the car without an engine. There are no photos of the engine in the "as found" set of pictures, the front end is sitting a little high in my opinion, and the front clip and engine were already off the car in the photo dated 8/15/2008.

The trans looks restamped. I would say the block might be too.

The trans appears to have some work done in the area around the stamping, it doesn't look right in the photos for sure.

There are no docs with this car so it's a crap shot as to if it's legit or not. My L89 was built the first week of March and this one has a 3E build date. The vins are roughly 2500 off. They were normally run in batches. I have found 3 others with the same build week as mine. I have not found any with a 3E build date. Not saying it's not real but just pointing out a couple of things. Too bad the took apart the car
