I guess desirability can only be decided by you; I find second generation F-bodies ('70-'73) very desirable but, most people seem to gravitate toward the first gen cars. I personally beleive that the earlier 2nd generation Camaros and Firebirds are sure to appreciate and, as long as you enjoy the car; who cares.
