Don't mess with old farts - age and treachery will always overcome youth and skill! Bullshit and brilliance only come with age and experience.

A few years ago I would part time with some of my wife's family doing remodeling/building/carpentry work (as well as building my house), and one of the older gentlemen at church was quizzing me about one of our builds one morning...he asked to see my hands, which had the typical calluses, cuts, smashed fingernails, etc., and said "you're not a REAL carpenter yet". I agreed, but had to ask exactly what he meant. His response was "you have all of your fingers left!" Naturally, this gentleman is missing 4 fingers on one of his hands from a saw accident while working as a carpenter...I told him I was satisfied to never be categorized as a real carpenter!
