Thank you gentleman for all the comps. It's not really a big deal, but the process does take a number of years to get the top award. I've been at it since the car was finished in 04.
If ever you have a chance to get to an AACA Grand National show, it would be well worth your time. This was in the beautiful small town of New Bern N.C. in southern N.C. There were 520 of the finest original restored cars you'd ever want to see. Now I will start the process all over again with the El Camino, so maybe by 2016, I will be sticking another little plaque on the ElCamino grill. Thanks again guys!!! |

Congratulations, Sorry I didn't get to meet you, this site was apparently pretty well represented. Jacquie was there with her '66 Chevelle and I had my '61 Starliner there, we all got our Sr. awards. May have been more there as it was a very large show of muscle cars. One of the best AACA shows I've been too.
