A McLeod Soft Loc will get the job done. It's adjustable for both spring pressure and counterweight. It should give you the softest possible pedal with great clamping power. I've had them before and aside from the super expensive hand built jobs, I think they're the bad boys of the boulevard. I suspect some (many) "stock" racers claiming otherwise are using them. If they're underneath fiddling with the clutch during qualifying or between rounds, it's a dead giveaway.

It's a tough question, but you got some good answers. What is your car's configuration and what are your goals?

Wayne

This sounds like a great set-up.

And I'm kicking myself too. I had an old Ansen two piece bellhousing that was pretty much perfect for use with a Soft Lock....and of course, I sold it. The bottom came out like a clutch inspection cover on a standard bellhousing.

I just got a email from summit with 30.00 Summit bucks toward a centerforce clutch. I have always had good luck with them.
