------The numbers are awfully straight on the pad. Underhood is way far away from a judgeable LS6 as is the underside. Im stopping there.......Bill S

The pad stamping pic is pretty hard to judge considering the clarity of the pic and rust present etc. The transmission on the other hand is easy to spot as a restamp. Besides the character issues with the production date, and the 7 used on the v.i.n in place of the correct #1 for the division i.d. (this does show up on 70 Corvettes for some reason) under the stamp it's very easy to spot the punch marks used to try and copy the sand casting texture.
