Lots of neet stuff here. I missed the Mobil sign, a 50's gas pump and what looks like a late 30s PU in the background.
The '57 next to the '55 looks to be an original V8 car; probably a 150 series if it's a business coupe. GREAT candidate for a JR. Stocker!

I'm trying to gather info re: this "55". It could be one of two cars running on the northwest side of Chicago. My first pick was "Old Ugly" the driver hung around Super Dog Mil.& Devon. My second pick would be "The Polish Hop" he ran the same area and sometimes on Harlem ave from the kennedy X south to Irving pk road.

I think the guy told me that the color is "Allis Chambers" orange.
