Just use your 3/8 stock rods resized with some good bolts you will not have any problems, as in any good rebuild balance your rotating assembly [/ QUOTE ] I agree! Chevrolet had their act together by making every SBC, BBC, and W-Motor come with Forged connecting rods instead of cast iron construction like most Pontiacs and other manufacturers. Heck, even up until '67 or '68, almost every Chevy V-8 also had Forged steel crankshafts!
