A freind of mine bought this 1969 Camaro and the person he bought it from claims these are motion installed bars.Can anyone indentify these ? Any help is appreciated.

I'm pretty sure a customer of Motion Performance could get any brand of traction bar they wanted. One of the other brands Motion used was ET.

My guess is 1970+. I don't realy know specifically. I think Lakewood made early ones which were less rectangular.
I've also seen some Competition ENgineering bars which loos similar to yours, but there isn't a brack on the rear tail, which I think is more of a street benefit than a race-track one. |

Around late 1971 or so Lakewood came out with the narrower bar. Looks like a Lakewood snubber too.

And thanks again for the info.This car has a 454 block that was added to it. The best I can decode it was a truck engine from 1974 245 hp. Attached is the pad stamp. Anyway Motion could have installed this in the 70's also?
