What happened with this car. I remember you posting a few pics when you got it. Ever find a build sheet, etc. I imagine the carpet would be the same color as Chevelle and Camaro so that may help you get more comparable colors.

Jason I am just playing with the car a little bit at a time and one thing leads to another. I did not find a build sheet in the interior but I am planning on having Jerry MacNeish inspect both cars very soon. I am fairly certain it is a real big block car and it has the right indicators of being an L78. I would like to figure out how long the 427 fender emblems have been on the car and maybe get a clue on why they were installed on the car.

427 Emblems? Did you post more pictures of the car somewhere? I think I saw pictures that were posted right after you bought the car but before you got it home?

Jason I will e-mail some pictures to you. Sam would you say the red carpet is a brighter red than the seats?

Can anybody with a 1969 camaro with red interior let me know if the carpeting is a much brighter red than the seats and the rest of the interior? The carpeting I pulled out of my Nova is not original and is about the same shade of red as the seat vinyl.

I had bad luck with Trim Parts carpeting. The first set they sent for my Chevelle was crooked. They did however stand behind it and sent out another set which was much better but still had to be tweaked to get it to fit just right...
