Yes, the 4 blade fan uses a spacer. I believe it is a 1.5 inch spacer.
standard fan - 3927791 is a 4 blade fan, you would also need the 3927792 spacer with that fan.

Those are part numbers for 69, not 68.

email me for some hi res pics , I went digging and found a disc with a few pics of the 68 Nova stick car I parted out a few years ago, I cant recall who got the shroud?...thought it was a member here? shots are so so I was mostly zero'd in on the mint smog system and some of the fan stuff is in the pics.
