In my opinion GM is going about the possible introduction of the new Camaro Z28 all wrong. They should make the new 5th gen Z28 a low cost, high performance package with no frills or extras, sort of like the original 1st gen ones were. They should be designed for weight reduction, handling, deletes of many unneeded things like nav, bluetooth, mp3, even a whole stereo system. They should have a normally aspirated engine of at least 425 hp and be available with a starting price of say $28,000. If GM wants to make a super high performance Camaro with the supercharging, etc. call it a ZL1.

I couldn't agree more. Adding all of the electronics just adds weight. Build a naturally aspirated, corner-carver with less weight then add the 1969 Badges and Stripes. Price it right and the lines will form around the block. JMO, Ed
