Sorry to see you were unable to get the info on your tire. Here is the reply I received from Uniroyal, verbatim: "Mr. Pritchard, Thank you for your email. We welcome the opportunity to serve you. Based on the DOT number you provided the tires were made in August, 1967. It is our goal to ensure that your issue has been resolved or your question answered to your satisfaction. If we can assist you further, please respond to this email or call us at 1-877-458-5878 (toll free) between 8:00AM and 8:00PM Eastern Time Monday through Friday or between 9:00AM and 5:00PM Eastern Time on Saturday. Ken Uniroyal Tires Consumer Care Department" The code on the sidewall of my tires is one letter, then four numbers, then one letter. They obviously had no problem deciphering that.
