Dan, sorry that I upset you. If I were the buyers of the decals I would want my money back based on what I just read in my post. Your response to my post did not leave me confident that your decal's were original. That is up to your buyer's to decide. If they are happy and confident, then god bless.
Why should I have PM'ed you this question as opposed to asking it publicly? People need to be aware of repop stuff that is out there and what to look for so they can avoid it. If you feel my post put you in a negative light then I am sorry, but it look's negative. I also have another question for you. How many of these "original" decals did you just sell? It looks like two or three based on your postings. You had three 40 year old originals just laying around? That's interesting because in years I have only seen a hand full of actual "originals" that were for sale here and on e-bay. By no means is this decal ultra rare, but it is a lot more rare as compared to the repops of it out there. As far as the Nickey broshure this decal fell out of, I would be looking closely at that as well.

You know, I was going to let this go but I just got a $hitty PM from Dan. For the record I view him as just another memorabilia/parts pimp that uses this website for personal gain. As he said in the PM to me: "I've established more whole collections for members here than you have individual pieces in your collection." Well if that is the extent and purpose of your membership here then that is sad. The readers now have evidence that you are dishonest. I even gave you an out. I said maybe Dan does not know these are repops. Well apparently he did. He claims they fell out of a Nickey catalogue or the sky or wherever. All I will say is buyer beware when it comes to this guy.

Frank you are a clown.
You need to get over yourself. This is clearly out of personal spite and jealousy of my personal collections and my honest, sincere help of the members here. Do I need to start a reference list for you to read from? I've helped members find parts, memorabilia, rare dealer promotional items and everything in between. I've sent items overseas, I've round out collections in half the of the States in this nation, I've sent dated components helping restorations in the Hamptons and all the way out to California and I've even sent items to neighborhoods close to yours in Ill. How does any of that show I'm a dishonest "pimp"? Thats a personal attack. I specialize in niche markets and my target market flocks to me. Word of mouth recommendation is the most sincere compliment I could receive in this hobby. It has happened countless times. Heck members here have even given my NOS items as Birthday presents to fellow members. But I'm dishonest... ![]() I pride myself on helping members establish memorabilia collections because I find it enjoyable. Period, end of story! I gave YOU an out. Pick up the phone Frank, call me like a man, don't hide behind a computer and bash me with your internet ego! Since you brought up being a dishonest, pimp, Frank, should I remind you of a situation with a little red Yenko Deuce you cheaper shooter? You bought a car you couldn't afford and sold when the market peaked. We all watched you taint the pages of Yenko.net with lies, and garbage gospel saying "I'll never sell my Deuce" and "I always drive it like stole it" when MONTHS later you flipped it! [b]And I'm a pimp?[/i] I guess the emails and PM's I've received from members here asking me what your problem is shows my satisfied customers are mobilizing for my protection? But again, I'm a dishonest, pimp? Don't throw stones if you live in a glass house, Frank. Show is over. Frank clearly doesn't know what he is talking about. His invisible collection must be blinding him. Good morning, Dan

Dan, after all this I have NO desire to have a fire side chat with you. I will stop on my end. The readers can decide what they want.
By the way, I owned my Deuce from February 2004 till February 2006. Anybody here that matters knows the type of person I am and what my true intentions were in regard to its sale.

The Egg style sticker that Dan posted says, Hi-Performance Cars not Hi-Performance Parts, like the originals we have.
While many have told me they have seen these on conversion cars, I never have. I don't know if they are vintage or not. So I can't say for certain. We reproduce several types of stickers, including the egg, the crest, and the oil change stickers. We use all these stickers on our new cars. While a few crooks sneak in the mix, we are the only entity authorized to reproduce Nickey stickers of any types. Below are some examples of our reproductions: ![]() |
