I think this Camaro was built at the extremely rare North Branch, MN plant.

Nothing wrong here at all. BDY numbers were re-set to 100001 as of VIN N670xxx. VIN is in range for 08A.

![]() I'd like to retract my comments bout those being fakes, but the edit feature says my time has expired. At least you've cleared up the discrepancies, but my first post still stands. Thanks, Tony Huntimer Camaro Performers Magazine |

Was X11 an SS code? I thought that it was just the style trim package that any non-SS car could get. Dash has ac vent, firewall doesn't look like it has the condenser. I'm no expert, but my guess is the trim tag is bogus.

Lynn,
That's a low one! Your VIN must be close to 124379N670000. The reset is something that I didn't know and that's why I'm glad somebody pointed it out. I can understand why they reset it (probably to have a standard of always resetting in August), but without the VIN to match with the cowl tag the numbers can get confusing. It would have been less confusing and kept the numbers further apart if they reset on 07A. ![]() If I could go back and edit my previous posts on "calling out" the owners of those cars I would. I hope I didn't cause any grief. ![]() Tony Huntimer RaceHome.com |

Am I correct in assuming that these are the elusive "1970" Camaros? Damn. Looks like the GM Photo Store doesn't appear to have the picture of the 1970 plated 69 anymore... |
