Default Re: Electric Fuel Pumps

I was disappointed that this thread died so I figured I would give it a bump. Let me know if the pics need to be re-sized.

Here is a cool ad on the "Tandem" configuration. I really would love to see more on the Triplex / Pro-Stock so if anyone is sitting on anything, please speak up or let me know where I could find the info.

These pumps seemd to really be "Motion Specific", does anyone know if they were specially designed for Joel? I'm kinda suprised the way the ad is written.

Here is another pic of a Motion installation. Looks like Joel just took a chisel and punched through, then mounted them on the wheel well. One thing to notice is that they turned the one manifold so the inlet and discharge are facing the same way here.

Personally, I like where Grady's Camaro had them installed. Anyone care to show other examples of where / how pumps have been mounted?

I don't think this thread is named specifically for the Dupree pumps, so I would love to see the discussion also expand to any other popular pumps which were known tools for our favorite builders.

I've got this article on fuel pump evaluations. I know my pop used to run an SW 240 in his 57 Chevy, and it appears to be popular with Caroll Shelby. How about some of these other ones?

Who has lived with any of these pumps?
