FB Update: "The Scottsdale Fire Marshall will not declare the auction site safe today given the continued storm activity in the area. The earliest time the consignors might be able to access their cars is Saturday morning. We will continue to post updates as new information becomes available." [/ QUOTE ] I will be surprised if that flies till sat morning, betting by now outside legal council is leaning hard on the Phoenix powers to be about controlling damage, everyones actions will be under a microscope in the next few days. . . |

I have to agree with you Bud. Removal of the tent and poles should be all that's needed to deem it safe for people. Otherwise, they'd have to shut down every parking lot in town.

Verne [/ QUOTE ] Why second guess the incident commander if you are not on scene and have not done a proper size up? From my past experience as a Professional Firefighter I would assume that after ensuring that the scene is safe the next priority will be saving property. |
