What was the deal with the 67 (I think) Nova that sold for $137? Not sure if I am 100% correct on the year... I was watching it on Speed and I was 1/2 asleep!

[/ QUOTE ]

You are absolutely correct on everything....67 Nova SS, triple black, 275 hp 327, 4 speed, two owner car, sold for $137K + 10% buyer premium. Somebody must have REALLY wanted that car

[/ QUOTE ] Wonder what it would have done had it been an L-79?

[/ QUOTE ]

Has anyone ever even seen one of the 67 L-79 Novas? I'd really like to see one of those cross the block.

[/ QUOTE ]

I believe one went across tonight at about 80K .
So there must have been two guys who had hot baby sitters back in the day that drove a black 275hp Nova and for the sake of the memory went at it to the tune of 137K + commish because I don't get that car for those kind of dollars. But I think it is great .

The 69 RS Z X33 car with a tattered build sheet ? Anyone know of a 69 Norwood car with a build sheet that wasn't requested by the buyer..it looked like a tank sheet off a Van Nuys car.. brought at 100k . Wonder if it was real.

I liked the numbers matching 70 Camaro RS/SS 396/375 car for 62k

Who can verify the 70 L-78 Camaro, or knows any history on the car......Remember what dealer sold the car. Same one that sold 71' "low milage" NOM Z-28 with 72 grill in 2008.

I like when a car stalls on the block and you get that mysterious phone bidder who bids once and then stops when a bidder on the floor takes it.

Are you saying that auctions are sometimes rigged with shill-bidders? Say it ain't so!
