What was the deal with the 67 (I think) Nova that sold for $137? Not sure if I am 100% correct on the year... I was watching it on Speed and I was 1/2 asleep!

It is very hard to make judgments on price given the first two days of auction are always cheap restos, wrong motors and few top-notch cars. Buyer beware!

Jack Duer has an an absolutely beautiful, restored 67 L79 Nova (1 of 6 made that year I believe) done with 100% NOS parts. His car would easily pull that kind of $$ IMHO. On the cover of NNN Times recently, was at MCN's this past Nov 09. Gorgeous car

What of the newly restored, unknown car, with alledged born with parts(possibly restamped), and alledged born with docs(docs from the Canadian paper factory?).
I cant call out seller/dealer for fear of lible charges. How does one do their homework on these situations. Remember last year when someone bought the #27 (recreation) ZL-1 for $290K.........

So there must have been two guys who had hot baby sitters back in the day that drove a black 275hp Nova and for the sake of the memory went at it to the tune of 137K + commish because I don't get that car for those kind of dollars. But I think it is great . The 69 RS Z X33 car with a tattered build sheet ? Anyone know of a 69 Norwood car with a build sheet that wasn't requested by the buyer..it looked like a tank sheet off a Van Nuys car.. brought at 100k . Wonder if it was real. I liked the numbers matching 70 Camaro RS/SS 396/375 car for 62k
