Regardless of what we say on this forum the car has enough sentimental value, and family history, that I think it would certainly be worth recreating the old paint job.

Have you spoken to Levi about the car? Levi was doing well last time I talked to him and he still races from time to time. He can probably give you all of the history on the car if that is what you're after. Cool car, either way.

on the original paint/lettering. I would paint both hoods just in case you want to switch them around at times...maybe even find some original slotted mags!
