Thanks Bruce for the offer. My wife will get over it. Still not as bad as when a car that I bought got delivered to the house on mother's day week end. I kept putting off telling her about it till the day the Reliable truck was in front of the house. This car will make my 11 year old happy because she is tired of cars that I have owned that are too nice to drive.

Yes, the radiator core support has been opened up for a BB radiator.

If that's right...do I win something?

[/ QUOTE ]Looks like a good purchase Mark. I bet you got the right deal on it too. But always remember NO car is to nice to drive IMO, just have to clean them better!

Best of luck Mark!.

I'm breaking the new wife in on how this all works and am having a tougher time w/ it than I thought I would..

Last week I paid in advance for a site-unseen deal on yet another of these old vintage racing snowmobiles and the guy dropped it off in the driveway on Monday while I was at work..

It seems that rust and tarnished chrome doesn't have the same effect on the girls as it does the rest of us as the high I was on after seeing what was waiting for me quickly subsided when I saw her 'happy' face..

Crazy thing is I just made deals for two more I've gotta sneak in over the next couple weeks!.

Do you think the girls will miss us when we're gone and will look back fondly on the days of us dragging these treasures in the drive?.

Get the kids to side with me first then tell the wife I need to move her car out of the garage for awhile . Put this Nova on jack stands, take a bunch of pictures and look for a build sheet. Then I will either pat myself on the back because I still can find neat cars or get sick because I screwed up again and bought another junk Nova. Pretty simple plan.
