No...I think a COPO was on the block. I was listening to it on my car radio on the way to get some food!

He also mentioned that's why they put the VIN's on their website!

I found it very interesting that R&S did not refer to this car as a "1 of 1" and that was never mentioned. They did say the car was authenticated by Brian Henderson and restored at Legendary Motors in Canada, but never referred to it as a "1 of 1"

What Drew said while the car was on the block was that "Everyone said that a car like this did not exist, so the experts were sent to Legendary Motors to inspect the car. Peter laid out the POP's from other Novas of the same era to compare and the experts were sent home with their tails between their legs"

Daves wording from the Window sheet........

The over 2 1/2 year rotisserie restoration is evident on this #1 Supercar. A 100% numbers matching "born with" drivetrain; all original sheetmetal, body panels, floor and trunk with perfect Tuxedo Black is powered by the 375 hp engine

All components on the car are factory and date code correct

This amazing Nova underwent a nut and bolt restoration to factory specs at Legendary Motorcar of Canada where the car was documented as authentic by Supercar experts during the assembly.

Now!!........I find it Amazing that the "Experts" at Legendary that spent 2 1/2 years restoring the 1 of 1 "Holy Grail" car .......didn't even know that 074 heads were not correct for that application, or the engine shop that assembled the engine didn't question the piston/head/compression issue......"And" these guys are the "Experts" that walk on water........Remember....Dave said he took the factory installed original 074 heads off the engine to "Protect" them......Amazing......Non withstanding the fact that the Engine option was cancelled 5 months before the car was built.......
Not to get into this again.......But......The history and prior ownership of the car is suspiciously swept under the rug......For the rarest Super car that Chevrolet ever built to not have it's background authenticated is a "Clue"....

Ken

Hey Ken.....if you talk to Dave, tell him there's another set of 074 heads for sale in the parts for sale section. He may want another "backup" set.
