Nothing to contribute here re: Yenko, but I remember hitting the junkyards on Craig Rd in the late 90s when I lived in LA. The stuff in there was unreal, even then!

I grew up in Vegas. The 70's went by fast. Went to the yards up and down CR and Lamb Blvd weekly. There was also a tow yard on Fremont St. not far from the Las Vegas Speed Shop that we would peek our heads in. Seems that what ever was wrecked on the weekend would end up there.

I talked to a gentleman today who claimed to have owned the largest junk yard in the Vegas area. I asked him about the possible Yenko Nova. He said it wasn't in his yard, but that he did look at it a long time ago and although he said he was far from an expert on Yenko cars, he felt it was not real. Lotta things there weren't big block like they should be. FWIW

No, actually I didn't. We (Jensen, Engler, and myself) were there looking at a 69 camaro(he's up by Eu Claire Wis) for Engler. He's seen Jensen's and didn't mention that it looked anything like that which led me to think more in terms of 69. I'll have to get his nbr from Jensen and re phrase the question. Very nice guy. Last name was Becker I believe. His shop is Super Sport restoration if I read the hat correctly.
