I think they ask to be paid. If they bring 1000 cars to your town for the night that equals at least 1000 hotel rooms rented. Also most of those people buy gas, go out to dinner etc.

Is there a firm listing of venues yet? One place says Beech Bend in Bowling Green and another mentions an Airport.

Seattle to San Diego down the coast highways..
Salt Lake City to Chicago or Cleveland/Norwalk through Spearfish SD as far as Bristol, Power Tour didn't do their homework, had they gone next door to Kingsport for festivities they probably would have scored BIG. When I did events at Bristol, they (the city) didn't want to do squat... however, Kingsport was a HUGE help, and were absolutely great to work with...
