I just wish there was a playoff system 16 teams and a real undisputed national champion. Of course the 17th and 18th ranked teams would be crying then. It would be a lot fairer than the current BS system. Good luck Boise State. I am an Oregon State alumni, one of the few major schools with the gonads to play Boise State, everyone else is afraid to. I hate that damn blue turf though.

I would also like to see a playoff system, but that's been flogged to death.
I'm disappointed to see TCU play Boise State. They each should have been put against one of the teams from the so called "power" conferences to see how they match up. Unfortunately, having these two play each other won't prove anything about their "competitive" status. Big screw up by the BCS in my opinion. I've seen several of the Broncos games this year and I just love their style and the way they play. They deserve a chance to play against the so called "big boys". I honestly think a surprise would be in order if that came about. But, we are left disappointed as we are every year. Since we're on the topic, I have to put a shameless plug in for our local University here in Kingston, Ontario. We certainly don't have anywhere near the number of Universities of our American neighbours, but we do have a football playoff system. Our Queen's University Gaels won all three playoff games, including beating the number one team in the Country, and then won the National Championship to win their fourth Vanier Cup.

They are trying to protect their own. They don't want a repeat of Utah stomping Alabama last year.
