Default Re: 67 Caprice 427 - Any thoughts?

There are spiders everywhere Bruce! But they are all dead spiders now. I'm not scared of dead spiders....but what I AM scared of is that lady with the 427!! She's a fiesty one...and one quite capable of kicking my a**...which just might happen if I try to do any more haggling with her. She said FIRM and I do believe she meant it!

I followed the link you provided Jake and I see a couple of things that would rule the 62 out as being originally a 409 car...It's an automatic and doesn't have a tach. As soon as we are able to get the casting numbers and head numbers I will post them and hopefully you guys can help us figure out what motor it is. Did the 62's normally have a buildsheet somewhere??
