Sorry to hear this Brian. It's bad enough to lose anyone in the car hobby, but to lose a close friend as well, ..... and unexpectedly, .... it shakes us to reality. Hold your friends close and cherish every minute.

My condolances as well. It is tough to lose a good engine guy, and heartbreaking to lose a good friend- but when you lose your #1 engine guy that also happens to be a great friend it is tragic. I certainly know and appreciate the bond we all have with people we deal with this closely in our line of work. I've used the same engine guy for almost 20 years, after a while they are your FRIEND first and your engine builder second. Again, very sorry for your loss and that of all that knew him. Sounds like a solid guy, and we need as many of those around that we can get. Colin

Terrible news. I first met him a couple of years ago and know he was a very big part of the SCW restoration team as well as a close friend of all the SCW guys. My condolences to his family and his friends.
