I have a build sheet for a `69 Velle L34 with F40 suspension that shows DC as the label code.
Another `69 sheet without F40, also an L34, shows DC, while another sheet for an L78 with COPO conversion shows FS. |

Man Don, you sure do know how to make me miserable. What box is the tire sticker in, on the 69 build sheet. The sticker shows passenger capacity too, so obviously a 69 ElCamino would be different. Thats assuming no bed passengers are aloud. If you stuck a kid in the back of the bed these days, like we did as kids, it would probably be considered, child abuse.

Oops. The one picture of the original door sticker didn't make it. Here it is again. This is a 396/350hp, auto, ac car with F41 suspension.

Not to upstage Don but since I'm here, box 105 has the tire pressure code.
You're right Bill that the El Camino should have a different code. |

Thanks Rick. Thats what I thought. Box 105 on my build sheet is one of the few boxes I can't read. I didn't want to hijack Don's post, but if anyone knows what the 69 ElCamino sticker is suppose to look like, I like to know too.

Man Don, you sure do know how to make me miserable. [/ QUOTE ] Sorry Bill, I am not purposely trying to give you nightmares ![]() ![]() As usual Rick you are able to supply some valued information. Thanks. Great pictures Phil, thanks. I’ve put them side by side below for comparison purposes. You can see some subtle differences between the two if you study them closely. I wonder if the F41 decal was the only one that got the “Optional” pressures????? It would appear to me that these codes were similar to the spring codes, that being there were different ones for various option weights and suspension components. Wonder if somebody out there has the two digit alpha code for an F41 Coupe? I would guess all the various codes are not available from the suppliers, but I may check some of their listings. No sense replacing the one I have if a correct one is not being made. Appreciate the responses guys. Any further input is welcome. ![]()

According to a build sheet response over on Team Chevelle the code I'm looking for is "BC". According to Dennis Cumby there could be a difference between the 69 and 70 "BC" decal. It may very well be the 69 decals came wtih "F70-14-4 PR" while the 70 decals got "F70-14-B". The Osborne BC reproduction has "F-70-14-B". Are we nuts to worry about all this little stuff
