I'll accept the well meant greetings and acknowledgements from others on Veteranss Day.
As I visited Tahoma Nat'l Cemetary (Maple Valley,WA) I saw the fresh graves (no grass/just dirt) from those that recently killed in IRAQ or AFGHANASTAN. As I walked the rows of tombstones leading to my fathers grave site (Sol Sharin WW2 Battle of The Bulge SILVER STAR) I viewed and passed many other visitors. I fail to understand how happy is associated with this day where we stop and recognize our vets, either alive or fallen. Maybe I should be happy that I'm alive and made it back from my tour............

I am a little late here Chuck, just saw your post.
I am a very fortunate vet that never had to face combat directly, I am always a little sad on Veterans day, for those combat vet's who endured the hard stuff, God bless you Dad.. ![]() Just found this in my e mail. Touching https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cq_TmHt5Ncc |

Chuck, you and the rest who served, now serving and who will make the decision to serve in the future are heros to me! Where would this country be without our protectors: servicemen and women, fire, police etc. home and abroad? Thank you.
