Did the guy say where he was from?
That sounds just like a car I saw at Immokalee Raceway in Naples, FL. That thing was just cool with slapper bars and looking pretty much stock.

Sam,i believe that is actually what this 69 Z28 is.A early 70's style stocker;i didn;t bring my camera;but the owner showed me inside the trunk;;great condition;and still retains the stock gas tank.Mark the owner is from upstate NY.But he said he moved to south florida years ago;so it is probably the same car.Chris
