<font color="blue">My first car in 1976 was a 1971 Dodge Charger R/T 440.
My dad would not lend me the extra $$$ to buy a 1967 Camaro SS 427 / 4 speed (street race car)so this was all I could afford.
The ad said 71 charger - custom carburator - excellent condition - $1400 firm.
The custom carb turned out to be a chrome air cleaner.
I went and looked at it & told the guy I would take real good care of it but all I have is $1100. He liked me & said OK.
What a great car. 13.99 at the track just like I bought it & I drove it everywhere/everyday.</font>
