Thanks for the heads up Jeff. Is it odd that outlet didn't blow the fuse when the device started to overheat?

It can melt/burn the location & wiring & anything else around the fuse without popping it...ask me how I know?!

Rob added a power invertor to our new trailer and when we checked on it a few days lalter, it had melted most of the wiring to and from it, melted the fuse holder, maybe even the fuse, but never blew the fuse. We were lucky it was not worse.

I use the inverter frequently and used to leave it plugged into cigarette lighter in my pick up...USED TO !!
