Default Re: 1969 camaro tilt column

[ QUOTE ]
Bill,

Out of curiosity what is the difference? All have the column lever for the reverse lockout in 69 right?

Jason,

Yes they both have the reverse lock out lever, but a column shift tilt column would have a gear shift lever equipt shift bowl, and a floor shift column would have a smooth shift bowl with out the lever.

Many times a column shift bowl will be ground off and smoothed over to look like a floor shift unit. I have seen this many times with the very rare 1967 only Chevelle tilt columns.
