Sounds like it's going to be quite a ride once you do get to drive it. M21 is a close ratio 4 speed. Is your car a 385HP (L36) or 425HP (L72)? If you'd rather not post the vehicle info on a public forum, feel free to email me at [email protected]

I recently came upon this thread and was wondering about my car. It is a 66 Caprice 396 with 3 Speed BW T16 would this be consider the HD tranny it. It is a Column Shift. I haven't seen many of these and wonder how many were built. Would this have been a special order? I have the build sheet and proteco plate image which documents this is all origninal. Any help you could give is appreciated.
Thanks, Paul |

Paul,
I would like to see pictures of your documentation if possible. Do you know the RPO code for the transmission? It sounds like your car has the RPOM13 three speed. Steve
