Default Re: 1970 COPO Nova

Central Chevy/Olds in Canada actually ordered 10 COPO Novas, but only received 2 - it is not know why. Interestingly, (for a #'s guy anyway) is that these two Canadian COPO Novas were not built sequentially, nor were they built within the same 2 runs as Yenko's orders. This little tidbit of info, along with the COPO requirement that the combination be made available to all dealers, certainly opens the door for additional non-Yenko, USA sold, COPO Novas. Although we don't know of any at this time, it would not surprise me if one or a few would eventually show up.

There is a huggar orange deuce that is currently under resto that will eventually be raced in pure stock sans stripes and wheels. I actually restored my Deuce without any of the Yenko doodads first, then photographed it before adding all that sillyness - I'm not a big fan of the Yenko stripes!
