Default Something a little different...

I picked this up last weekend. She's a 59 Dodge Royal D500. The D500 package gave you the 320hp 383, Torqueflite trans, HD suspension (5 rear leafs) and dual exhaust. She hasn't been on the road since '77. The prev owner was 78. D500 59's are super rare (esp a Royal D500)
She hasn't run in 5 years and needs general resto. I'm amazed how solid this one is. The broadcast sheet is in fantastic shape!

That '59 Dodge is the BOMB! Do you have any pictures of the interior? What are the options it came with? How many miles?

I like it! It reminds me of Christine's trailer-trash, meth-addicted, over-weight half-sister. Hmmmmmmm..........anyway, I love the tail-lights, rear fins and quarter panel trim. A proud product of the American car industry during it's Golden Age.

The odo reads 34xxx. Hard to tell if it's been around. The car is orig from Pa and aside from some floor rot it is remarkably solid-so, it very well could be original. The sad part is vandals slashed the seats and whipped a rock through the windshield. The seller had a spare windshield. Apparently SMS has NOS upholstery. The car was apparently painted once in Pa in 1977. The car has some interesting options including padded visors, rear radio speaker, variable speed wipers/washers, convenience group inc glove box and trunk lamp. Dual rear antennas (removed and the holes filled!!) license plate frame, padded dash and power steering. Standard brakes though. Whoa!
The interior is red/black.
