[/ QUOTE ] If he really is (was) a hedge fund manager then he probably needs some of that money back now that the whole thing has collapsed. (He must not have been very good at seeing the future--something a hedge fund manager, or any money manager should need to know, ya' know?) Seeing him (or his proxy) pay those prices at B-J a few years ago without care and now seeing him basically 'dumping' everything he bought should tell you something about the stock market vs. reality. Welcome to reality!

A friend of mine bought Lot #240, the Bennie Osborn Top Fueler; makes a nice bookend with the Tony Nancy "Sizzler" Top Fueler he bought in August.

From looking at the auction results, obviously a 'no-reserve' auction. You think this LS-6 Rag really changed hands or the fella just bought it back.
Tell you what, I'm wouldn't be taking a million dollar that quick...
