1969 Z/28 M22 4:10

I am guessing that it is striped white (faded and yellowed) and orange. These are the only 2 marks that I can see on the driveshaft. If there were more I'd think they would be visible as these are very clear.

Looks the same as my 67 z/28 with M21



The first marking towards the yoke is where something was rubbing and isnt a paint mark.

I think ornage and white was pretty typical of manual trans cars

Here's how mine turned out, 11 inches from the end of the driveshaft. With the flash pic the driveshaft looks two-tone, think that was just where I had it masked and now dustfree. Cant see it naked eye. I just masked a 3/4 inch wide stripe 11 in from the end, spraypainted it. Waited a few hours, masked the next stripe and repeated the process. Could also do it with one of the foam brushes. Car was on jackstands and just rotated the shaft by hand.
