Is the idea to try to make a strong case for the car being a Motion to justify paying the $1,500 to Joel Rosen to find out if it is indeed one of his?

So far the case for being a Motion car are the stripes, hood pins and Motion emblems? Anything else?

Kind of interesting that writing a check will resolve the mystery in a matter of days! If I owned the car I would be lying awake at night debating about doing it....

its actually $2000.00 now for Joel to verify the car.I too would be losing sleep over spending the money as it is nonrefundable either way. Im sure my friend is contemplating it all the time. He has found out a few other thing like the green flex-a-lite fiberglass fan is there the holes are on the firewall for the phaseIII ignition. Hes trying to find the original owner. Anybody know what the best way would be to do that?

On Jun-23-09 at 10:51:43 PDT, seller added the following information:

".....I have first & second owners names will try to find out more.."

good luck!

I believe the original owner or second owner ( I have info at work I just can't remember.) passed away around 2003. His wife is still alive and lived in same house until sheriff sale a few years ago. That is as far as I could get during the ebay auction. Good luck

Turns out he has already spoken with a widow of one of the previous owners and turns out that her husband was the second owner of the car and bought it in the 1980's and he considered himself lucky because it was such a rare car. ALL he could remember was it came from BALDWIN and she thought he meant Baldwin New York not Baldwin Motion and couldnt understand why he was so excited. I couldnt begin to imagine.
