The B in the stamp means the transmission was an M21. (A = M20, C = M22)

You would think that if the car had a 4:10 rear end, L/89 motor and a 3-spoke steering wheel why stop at a M-21? I would think that it should have a M-22 to complete the package.

I was led to beleive M22's were not available in Novas in 1970.
