[ QUOTE ]
I am fairly certain these are later cast heads because there is no pipe plugs on the ends of the heads. If I remember right I think this started after June 1970? [/ QUOTE ] The "B" represents the vinyl roof. "732" simply means a black deluxe interior. As already mentioned the rivets seem to be set too far to the edges of the trim tag. ![]() |

Jason I almost posted the same...I am pretty sure those are 074 heads,Look at the top of the cast area next to the exhaust port where the Winters Logo is, very flat, not like a 840/842 head. so much for the rare L89 option ![]() ![]() [/ QUOTE ] Mike, I'm fairly certain this is the car that was on the Du Pont Registry... The B after the paint color represents black top. The B at the bottom of the tag is for blue interior paint. It should be A for black. Earl

Yes, L-89 Novas are for real. I have photos of a dark blue/light blue interior one the day it came home from the dealership and have actually held the ORIGINAL window sticker in my hand. I don't know if this silver one is real or not, but I know for an undisputable fact that they do exist.

I'm pretty sure it was a 1970. I sent you some photos that you can post if you'd like Dennis. Then I'll tell some more about the car.
