Bill, I'm not 100% sure that this picture was taken at 42, it looked to me like it was. I remember that building near the track. Last time I raced there was in the late 80s... I'll bet "Big Daddy Steve" (68l30) will know where these were taken!!

Looks like 42 to me. The concession building in the pic looks like the one they used long ago. That would be on the side of the track that ran along route 42 and not what is the only pit side today. I believe they also ran multi car races as a gimmic back in the early mid 70's. I know three cars was not unheard of and that would explain the extra tree. Rich, the other picture looks familiar also. I can place the church in the distance and the Parma area comes to mind. I was thinking the Parmatown mall area at first, but the church is different. The powerhouse in the backround is throwing me off...Might be on Pleasent Vally close to York?? Pre Tri High?? It's driving me nuts...I can picture the area!!

Steve, that power plant looking building was throwing me off also... Could very well be where "Tri Hi" is now.. Doug, the Tri-C college campus is very close in proximity to Pleasant Valley Rd. Actually part of the college is on that road. I know it well, spent 2 yrs of my life there to get part of my degree...

I thought that first picture was at 42, like I said I remember that building... Big you da man!!

-----You guys could definetly be right. I moved to Ft. Liquerdale in 1969 and didnt come back around 42 till probably 1980 or so. That would explain me never having seen that second set of lights.......Bill S
