Default Re: Dave's New COPO

Awesome ride Dave!! Very Cool Time Capsule!!! Can't wait to see it live....

Rodenfels was originally located at 6376 Pearl Rd. in Parma Hts., Ohio and sold several COPOS.. The dealership became Bill Doraty Chevrolet and then sometime in the late 80s or early 90s Integrity Chevrolet took over and moved into the building.. The dealership is now defunct.. I don't know what will become of the building.. Probably be knocked down...

Doug asked me if I would slide over to the old dealership location and take some pictures of same.. I did this last night.. It's funny, I talked to the original owner of this car on the telephone and he stated that he remembered the dealership was next to a little greasy spoon restaurant called the Whip which is still there and in business... He stated his wife had worked there during the time he bought the COPO.

Sorry to HI JACK the thread Andy.........

Enjoy..... Rich

My Grandparents and Uncles lived only a few blocks from the dealership, I remember as a kid in the late 60's and early 70's driving by the dealership and looking at all the beautiful Corvettes behind the glass in the show room. It was a fantasy for me as a kid.

Glad to see such a time-capsule that originated there. Congrats Dave. Hope to see the car soon.

Phil Woj.
