Now with the car advertised as a Motion car on Ebay has it been verified by Joel Rosen???

[/ QUOTE ]

I believe he has said that it has signs of Motion mods...
Not a BM car.

"I have a baldwin copo 69 camaro and it has all the tell, tell signs of the motion cars, I was talking to some people that heard that there was one or two copos that were motion cars !! "

Reads to me as the OP is saying his car might be a Motion car... not merely a car with Motion mods.

I get it that BM cars tend to be more desirable than Motion tuned cars. Certainly there are some exceptions- say maybe a Motion tuned racecar or car with racing provenance. Even a known street racing car tuned by Motion would be pretty desireable to me.

I am very suspicious with this car's association to anything Motion other than some over the counter parts, which is still kinda cool but a bit of a streach to speculate that it actually had any Motion wrenching or tuning done.

I agree with Bill, that the OP referencing "tell-tale-signs" is kinda(intentionally?) implying more Motion pedigree than what it may have.

I think that Kurt S is saying, this is a BM COPO.

I spoke to the guy over Christmas. It is definitely a Baldwin sold COPO, which is rare enough. Probably 1 of 2. He has previous owner testament that the car "went through Motion". Now what does that mean? Who knows. Could be anything. Hand-selected COPO by Joel Rosen for Phase III work and re-sale? It still has its original engine, so maybe somebody walked in for a dyno-tune, some sidepipes and traction aids? He is desperately pursuing leads for old pics and first owner.

If either Motion scenario is true, it is a significant car for sure.
